Hi, I’m Brooke.

I started Fresh Start by Brooke because I kept seeing the same thing in the families around me: good people running hard all week, and a house that quietly became one more thing to feel behind on.

Nobody needs that. A home should be the place where you get to exhale.

So that’s the job, as I see it. Not just wiping counters, but giving you back your Saturday morning. Letting you invite the neighbors in without doing a panic clean first. Walking into a kitchen that smells good and starting dinner without clearing a spot to work.

How I work

I’m a one-woman operation, and I like it that way. When you book with me, I’m the one who shows up, every time. I learn your home. I remember that the office is off limits and the dog is friendly but dramatic. That kind of familiarity is something a rotating crew can’t offer.

Before your first cleaning, we go through a simple checklist together: what matters most to you, what products you prefer, which rooms to focus on and which to leave alone. Then I do what I said I’d do, when I said I’d do it. Dependability sounds boring until you’ve hired someone who doesn’t have it.

What I care about

Details, mostly. The baseboard behind the couch. The faucet that could shine but doesn’t. Getting the little things right is the whole difference between a house that got cleaned and a home that feels cared for.

And people. I’ve cleaned for new parents who just needed one thing off their plate, for retirees who can’t manage the deep scrubbing anymore, and for folks digging out after a hard season. Wherever you’re at, no judgment. Truly. I’ve seen it all and I’m just glad to help.

Off the clock

When I’m not cleaning, I’m chasing our toddler, and when we both get a break, we’re usually outside. That’s the best part of living in this corner of Washington: the mountains are right there. A clean house and a view of the hills, that’s about all I need.
